Lucy is a Masters Graduate Sports Therapist and Rehabilitator who graduated with as the highest academic achiever of her cohort. She has a particular interest in blood flow restriction training and how that can produce better rehabilitation. 

 

Lucy joined the team initially as a volunteer student therapist for the Bournemouth Rugby 7's Festival. During that weekend Lucy impressed the whole team with both her knowledge and hunger to learn and develop, so much so that Lucy was offered a role with the team full time.

 

Prior to her Masters degree Lucy had studied an undergraduate degree in Sports and Exercise science, alongside gaining a sports massage qualification. Lucy has worked part time as a therapist for the AFC Bournemouth Academy and for local Wessex league football teams.

 

Lucy is a keen and capable athlete herself having played football from a young age representing Dorset county schools and being selected for England Universities team. Lucy now plays for Sherborne Town Ladies. Lucy also worked in USA for three summers coaching football (soccer!) sailing and climbing.​​
