Ben deakin

When Ben injured his shoulder in New Zealand some years ago he received some initial treatment through the NHS but realised for him to get back to flying down hills very quickly he needed specialist rehabilitation and thats what led Ben to find us.

Instantly likeable we knew he was the type of athlete we wanted to sponsor, someone dedicated to his sport and clearly loves showcasing his enjoyment through his awesome blogs and social media profiles. His signature 'oi oi' catchphrase is infamous among those who know the downhill scene!

But Ben's story is also an inspiring one, an ex marine injured serving our country in Afghanistan and he credits those experiences for making him realise what dream he really wanted to follow, MTB.

The nature of downhill biking somewhat leads itself to the odd injury but we are literally always there to pick him up and help him back on his way, OI OI!

Team Palmer Grimson

After shoulder surgery Jess Grimson was looking for the best sports physiotherapists in the South to return her back to the sand. With weeks of dedicated rehabilitation Dave helped her to get back to volleyball and along the way helped Vicky manage longstanding knee problems from years of playing indoor volleyball at professional level in Belgium.

Since treating the pair we saw the dedication and commitment both these girls had to their sport, paying out of their pocket to chase their dream of competing at the highest stage. We knew these were two athletes we wanted to help on their journey.

Fast forward a few years and these two achieved their goal to be the first female beach volleyball pair to represent Team England at a Commonwealth Games. They competed at the Gold Coast 2018 putting in some awesome performances and developing as athletes. We are immensely proud of both of them and will continue to be with them every step of their next journey in Beach Volleyball.

Ryan James

Ryan has the best description of any sportsperson we know - an Ocean Athlete!

Originally a swimmer and triathlete Ryan had always loved the big blue and slowly began transitioning over to sea sports. A Stand Up Paddleboarder mainly but equally skilled in Outrigger Canoe and Va'a racing he's one fast man with a paddle in hand.

The beauty of working with Ryan in these emerging sports is that we are constantly working in partnership with him to find ways to help reduce his injury risk and improve performance such as shortening his paddle, or adjusting his stance position. A 5 time National SUP champion and he has no signs of stopping, Ryan is a joy to work with, always pushing himself and looking to improve and we love helping him find ways to do just that.
